Last updated: October 31, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ambar Style, operated by FASHION DISTRIBUTION NETWORK LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom (company number 16913511) (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or shop at ambarstyle.store (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. They help a site work properly, remember your preferences, keep items in your basket, and understand how the site is being used. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits (SDKs). In this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies, which expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies, set by Ambar Style.
- Third-party cookies, set by our service providers, such as analytics and advertising partners.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Make the Site and checkout function securely and reliably
- Remember your basket, language, currency and country or region
- Recognise you when you log in to your account
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- Measure the performance of our marketing campaigns
- Show you relevant ads for our fashion products on other websites and platforms
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Site to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support functions such as the shopping basket, checkout, account login, fraud prevention, security and saving your cookie choices. Without them, the Site cannot operate properly. These cookies do not require your consent.
Examples: basket and checkout cookies, session and security cookies, cookie consent preference cookies, localisation (country/currency) cookies.
Preference (functional) cookies
These remember choices you make, such as your region or language, so we can give you a more personalised experience.
Analytics and performance cookies
These help us count visits and traffic sources and see which pages are most and least popular. All information is aggregated, and we use it to improve how the Site works and to fix problems.
Examples: Shopify analytics cookies, Google Analytics.
Marketing and advertising cookies
These may be set by us or by advertising partners. They are used to build a profile of your interests, deliver relevant ads, limit how often you see an ad, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. They may track your browsing across different websites.
Examples: Google Ads and Google Merchant Center conversion tracking, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag.
Preference, analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you give your consent.
